1. I was only going to say it could be improved by giving reminders for the next class period; but you already said you were going to do that in class.

2. I really like the study questions and reminders. I am a bit forgetful.

3. I think it is just really good for communication outside of class. I think it will be really helpful for questions and concerns also.

4. By responding to your posts. (Hopefully I am posting correctly?)

5. I think it is fine the way it is now. It has helped me a lot.

I hope i did this right! Ashley

1.) I personally like the layout of this blog as it is. Everything is well organized and is easy to navigate.

2.) The colors enhance the page and I also like the helpful links. I don't have to search online for those included sites. The poll is also a good touch.

3.) I think once everyone begins logging on regularly, the site will enhance class.

4.) Other than leaving our own comments, it would be interesting if we took turns contributing something interesting to the page. Something other than assignments would create an educational, yet fun page.

5.) One additional link or section you could add is a personal section. It could include funny stories about your day or family.

-Have a great day everyone. =)

1. I think that this blog is pretty good the way it is. I really can't think of any other way of improving it, with the exception of posting what's due the next class period.

2. I really like the study questions before each test. They have definitely helped out in the past. I also like that, now that we have our own personal accounts, we can learn more about each other, and in a fun way!

3. By checking it before and after each class period, it will help prepare us for class. However, everyone will have to get on here pretty regularly for it to enhance the class as a whole.

4. We can contribute by responding to all the posts you put up, and also by asking questions on things we don't understand for you or one of us to answer.

5. I think it's pretty good the way it is now. :]

Happy blogging everyone! :]

1.) I personally really like the way that you have set the blog up, with how everyone has their own account and everything. The only thing I think that would improve it is that if you post reminders for homework for the next class; I think it would help a lot.

2.) I like how the blog is set up with helpful links to other websites. I also like how you pot polls so you can sort of get everyone's perspective on a certain topic. The study questions and helpful hints are really helpful as well.

3.) I think it is really good for staying touch with one another outside of class. This way if we need questions answered it will be easy for one another to help each other out.

4.) Hopefully once everyone gets an account and gets settled in the blog will just shoot off from their, as long as everyone signs on regularly and contributes by posting and responding to peoples questions and concerns i believe that the blog will do really well.
5.) I think now since you have added the personalized section the blog is just fine the way it it is.

I think this blog is going to be really neat once everyone learns how to use it. have a great day.
P.S. Lauren stole my ideas!

Good suggestions so far. It looks like posting assignment requirements for each day is a definite must, so I will try to do that regularly.

I like some of the other suggestions as well. If you think of more, feel free to post again.

I enjoy getting your input!

Ok, I added a section on the upper right hand corner that says what you need to remember for next class. Hope this helps.

1. I like the blog...the reminders for the next class period and helpful links are really handy.
2. I like the poll questions; they add some fun to it. The reminders, study questions and tips are nice, too (ex: the timed writing tips).
3. I feel like we would be more likely to discuss our thoughts on the blog instead of in seminars. I don't know about anyone else, but typing a comment makes me feel more comfortable than talking in a seminar.
4. Just by posting comments and questions is a great way to contribute.
5. I like Tyler's idea. That could be a fun way for us to get to know you better, too. =)

Nice try on the seminars, Sarah!!!!

Ok...this goes with the last post, but I couldn't figure out how to add it.

In all seriousness, Sarah is onto something about continuing classroom discussion OUTSIDE the classroom. This would be a good place to ask questions about a reading or make a comment that you might not have thought of during discussion. I'm looking forward to seeing that kind of dialogue.

1. I like the blog the way it is, like the layout, homework reminders, and helpful links.

2. I really like the fact that our assignments for the next class are on the blog in case you forget.

3. I think this will enhance class by having discussions both in class and online.

4. I can contribute to the blog by asking questions and contributing in the posts.

5. Now that the homework for next class is posted in the corner everyday i think it's perfect.

1.All of my ideas have already been discussed :)
2.I really like the daily reminders and helpful links;I can be quite forgetful sometimes. I also like to answer the polls, it is fun to see what people voted for.
3. With the daily reminders, I think that more of us will turn everything in on time. Also, if we forget to ask something in class, we could always ask it on here.
4.I think that if we all contribute by posting comments and asking questions, it will make the blog more successful.
5.I think that if you could add what is written on the blog to the comment page, that would be helpful. As I started to answer the questions, I sometimes forgot what the question acutally asked.

1. I think by putting a picture of me on the blog, you'll will get much more feedback! Haha just kidding, I think this blog is perfectly fine!

2. I really like the polls that you post because it keeps me intersted in what the rest of my classmates are liking.

3. I think that checking the blog often, like before and after class will most definitely enhance this blog's affect on the class.

4. Asking questions that may be useful to the rest of my classmates I feel will be a big way for me to contribute.

5. Like I said, add a picture of me!!!:) But seriously, I think this blog is a great and useful tool to have and I am thankful that you are taking the time to do it.

1. How does one improve on perfection? It's pretty much the best blog in the history of the universe (I often forget that it is just a blog and not an unconventional form of some Greek god).

2. The polls are brilliant. They are second only to the homework reminder section, which nearly surpasses the Neolithic Revolution as the #1 most significant development/event in world history (or so I hear).

3. Again, enhancing what is already perfect is quite an arduous task, but I think the blog could allow for better communication between the students and better clarification for the more bamboozling elements in certain assignments.

4. I can provide immature humor in a world of adult sophistication.

5. Essentially, this question doesn't seem much different than that of #1. I honestly can't think of anything else to add. Erm...see #1.

2. I like that we can log onto the blog to see what is due the next class period.
3. The blog is a really good way to communicate outside of class. Also, by simply checking it on a regular basis, the blog will make sure we are ready for each class period.
4. We can contribute to the blog by responding to each of your posts.
5. I think everything is great just the way it is (:

1. I think that it should send emails to your e-mail address and alerts.
2. I like the study questions cause they help prepare you.
3. I think its good if you are able to communicate outside of class and get assignments.
4. By always posting back maybe this thing will become really useful if everyone gets involved.
5. I like it right now, I can't think of adding anything else.

Max,

I like the email alert idea. As of now, I can only plug in 10 email addresses for alerts. Since there are 17 of you, I'm not sure how I can make that work.

I try to post every day (or every other day), so it's a good bet there's a new post.

5. Nothing I can think of honestly
