This Monday and Wednesday, we will begin and finish Oedipus Rex by Sophocles. PLEASE BRING YOUR ANTHOLOGIES, since you know my habit is to stop and talk about what's important. If you can mark in pencil parts of the play that we discuss, I believe it will help you greatly on the quizzes.
Friday, we are planning to shoot Act IV of Hamlet (we're over halfway finished)!.
While there is no homework for Monday, you should be working on the following:
1) your two scrapbook sections that will be due very soon
2) Also, ANOTHER REMINDER TO ORDER OR PURCHASE THE STRANGER BY ALBERT CAMUS ASAP!
3) Friday Essay due this Friday......Fate vs. Free Will is the topic

I know this post was from a week ago but I didn't want this to get mixed in with the Oedipus assignment.
When we are working on our portfolios for our senior projects, do we need to change the proposal to match our exact project if we changed some things?
You should be putting together your portfolios now, since they are due at your formal presentation during the first week of March. I believe I have some samples from last year's students we can look at during class.
Good question about the proposal. IF YOU HAVE CHANGED your project since you turned in the proposal, you were supposed to resubmit a new proposal to me. However, if you haven't done that, just change the proposal to fit the project.
