FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3

I've gone over and graded thesis statements for all who turned one in on Friday. If you'd like me to go over it with you, stop by when you have time. It will probably make your work time on Tuesday more productive.

I don't know where exactly to ask this, so i'll just do it here.

On the creative projects for the artwork, when you say it should be matted, do you mean like actual matting, or can i put construction paper behind it and frame it that way?

You can put construction paper behind it, then frame it.

You can also get a mat at Wal Mart for a couple of dollars.

As long as it looks neat, etc., it should be fine.

Sarah and I have a suggestion that we would like to run past you. What if we turned our outlines in on Thursday instead of tomorrow?

1. That would give us an opportunity to work on it tomorrow in the library, and you would get to look at them before we write our rough drafts.

2. We're afraid that if we had to turn the outlines in, we wouldn't get anything done in the library (the two of us were planning on having it done before class).

3. It would give us more time to work on our rough drafts. That would reduce stress for all of us and we think they would turn out better.

Just an idea, let us know what you think. Thanks :)

That sounds reasonable. But we'd have to set tomorrow's class up a little differently. Let me think about how I would restructure tomorrow's class, so we're not wasting time and I'll get back with you later today.
